2019 Bird Dog Hall of Fame Inductions

The 2019 Bird Dog Hall of Fame Inductions were held on Saturday, February 9, at the National Bird Dog Museum. The weather for the event was excellent - a sunny day with temperatures in the high 40s. The turnout for both the morning and afternoon sessions was outstanding, with a record crowd of almost 400 people. The morning session consisted of the inductions for the English Cocker Spaniels, the English Springer Spaniels, and the Retrievers. Following the morning inductions, there was a break for a luncheon sponsored by Nestle Purina, Garmin, Avery, and Ainley Kennels & Fabricators. The luncheon was catered by Me & My Tea Room of Dancyville, Tennessee. After the luncheon, the afternoon session began and consisted of the inductions for the Brittanys, Pointer/Setters, German Shorthaired Pointers, Red Setters, and the Weimaraners. This was the first time that the Weimaraner breed has been inducted into the Hall of Fame. Following the afternoon inductions, there was a reception sponsored by American Field and Me & My Tea Room. The reception was also catered by Me & My Tea Room. The food was great and enjoyed by all. The National Bird Dog Museum would like to thank all of our sponsors and volunteers who made this event possible. Congratulations to all inductees.
