Condolences to the Gates Family
The National Bird Dog Museum and the field trial sport lost a great friend with the loss of Robin Gates on February 19. Robin was well known in the field trial world, as he has been handling dogs since he was 17. Robin had won the National Championship at the Ames Plantation four times, Purina Dog of the Year five times, Purina Handler of the Year five times, and over 100 championships over his long and illustrious career. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Gates family.
