2022 Annual Bird Dog Foundation Senior Essay Contest
We just want to remind all graduating seniors about the BDF Senior Essay Contest. This contest is open to all graduating high school seniors who are U.S. citizens and residents of Tennessee, Mississippi, or Arkansas, and will be entering their freshman year at an accredited college or university this fall. Seniors from the other 47 states are also eligible provided they are U.S. citizens and they are affiliated with a bird dog or field trial club or association and proof of this affiliation is provided.
Three winners of the essay contest will be selected with first place receiving a $2000 scholarship, second place a $1500 scholarship, and third place a $1000 scholarship.
Rules, privacy policy, and suggested subjects can be found on this website under "Annual Youth Art & Essay Contests" in the Wildlife Heritage Center tab.
The deadline for the essay contest is usually April 15, although due to issues with the Bird Dog Foundation's email this year, the deadline has been extended to April 22.
If you like to enter, please email your essay to [email protected] with the subject line "2022 BDF ESSAY CONTEST" or mail to:
