Memorial Library

The William F. Brown Memorial Library is dedicated to the memory of William F. Brown (1905-1990), editor of the American Field magazine, author, journalist, field trial reporter, member of the Field Trial Hall of Fame, and a co-founder of the Bird Dog Foundation, Inc.

The library offers information about a diverse range of subjects, including dog breeding, training, the history of field trials, hunting, and vintage firearms. The vast collection of books and periodicals, including a complete collection of American Field magazines from the beginning to the end of its publication and many extremely rare vintage books (some dating back to the 19th century or even before), makes the William F. Brown Memorial Library an excellent resource for researchers or just for those who want to relax and learn something new.

The Children's Reading Corner and the Wildlife Heritage Center provides an educational experience for visiting children, enhancing their appreciation for the beauty of our natural world. The Taxidermy Room is always a favorite for children and provides them a close-up look at a diverse range of birds, mammals, and reptiles originating from all over North America, that they may have previously only seen on TV or the internet.
