Mission Statement

The National Bird Dog Museum is dedicated to preserving the past and protecting the future of the field trialing and bird hunting sports for sporting dog fanciers the world over.

This mission will be achieved by uniting sporting dog owners to support the following:

NATIONAL BIRD DOG MUSEUM:
Maintaining the National Bird Dog Museum to house historical memorabilia of the sporting dog breeds and the people involved with them. The museum will be used to introduce the public to and educate them about sporting dog activities.

FIELD TRIAL HALL OF FAME:
Maintaining the Field Trial Hall of Fame as a venue within the National Bird Dog Museum to honor persons and dogs that have contributed significantly to the sport.

WILDLIFE HERITAGE CENTER:
Maintaining the Wildlife Heritage Center to educate both adults and children about upland game birds and waterfowl, as well as the conservation efforts needed to protect them for future generations.
